Delta Competence offers training programmes in HVAC Engineering that are current and relevant. Attendees at our training sessions will see an increase of their understanding of technical issues and an improvement of their ability to perform their work. We aim to tangibly increase your competence (hence the name “delta competence”) instead of simply letting you accumulate “hours of continuing education” for your licence.

Comprehensive training, customized to your needs
Delta Competence offers training on a variety of subjects (for example: Psychrometrics, Understanding heating and cooling loads, HVAC equipment, HVAC systems, Design strategies, Writing sequences of operations, Controls, Sustainability and Decarbonization,…). We can quickly develop customized courses to address the industry’s evolving needs.
Our instructors are knowledgeable and they are dynamic communicators and teachers; they bring decades of actual work experience and a passion for transferring skills. Our training sessions are animated, fun and entertaining.
We offer courses in person at various locations across Canada. Our schedule for Spring-Summer 2024 of training programs, listing topics, dates and locations, will be posted shortly.
Our instructors will go where you are
We prefer to teach in person.
Online learning may be very convenient; but it is not nearly as effective as having an actual teacher in the same room as the attendees, connecting with them and reading their faces for clues to verify that they actually understand.
We will come to you, so you don’t have to travel. We understand that your time is precious, and you may not be able to take a few days out of the office to attend a course.
If you would like a training program for just your staff at your location, we can do this as well. Our instructors can work with you to identify your training requirements and design a unique training programme for your staff.
We follow up. Our instructors will provide our attendees’ supervisors or managers a summary of the skills acquired when the course is complete along with recommendations of tasks that the attendees can now perform to reinforce the skills and continue their mentoring on the job.
